As we come to the end of the 1st term we are grateful for the successes experienced and for the way in which challenges were met.

Die 1ste rugbyspan toer in die OOS-Kaap en speel Saterdag by Graeme College in Grahamstad, DInsdag in Uitenhage en op 31 Maart in Cradock. Die o/15 span toer na Affies, o14's na Pietermaritzburg, o/16's na Paarl Gim en die Cherries/Peaches na Stellenbosch.

The 1st soccer team will fly overseas tonight and the table tennis players to China next week. The 1st hockey team will play in a tournament at Pretoria Boys High, and the u/16 and 14 teams in Johannesburg.

The Grey/Absa Academy for 150 township kids will be held at Grey from 5-9 April and we look forward to their visit.

Our 1st soccer team is preparing for their overseas tour while our rugby and hockey trials have come to an end. Our 1st table tennis team will travel to Beijing.

Die 1ste en 2de rugbyspanne het goeie oorwinnings oor die Rugbyakademie in Virginia behaal. Komende naweek reis ons sportspanne met 10 busse na Upington om teen skole daar mee te ding.

At assembly on Friday Small Paul Young, originally from the USA, opened proceedings at assembly by telling and illustrating truths from the Bible - it was a fascinating experience and the Grey boys thoroughly enjoyed hs unique presentation. 

Tydens vanoggend se saalperiode het Arnu Fourie wat tydens sy matriekeksamen in 2003 sy voet in n ski-ongeluk verloor het, sy SA kleure in para-olimpiese atletiek aan die skool oorhandig en die seuns geinspireer met sy boodskap. Hy het die seuns oorreed om hulself vir Grey oop te stel en beskikbaar te wees vir alles wat die skool bied.

Tans word die tweede toetsreeks van die kwartaal geskryf en gedurende die vakansie gaan n groot aantal van ons spanne op toere na al die uithoeke van ons land.

Grey se onder 14 en onder 17 atlete het op die Suid-Vrystaat Kampioenskap hul afdelings gewen en n groot groep van ons atlete neem komende naweek op Sasol aan die Vrystaat Kampioenskap deel. Ons swemmers het skoonskip gemaak by die Vrystaat Interskole gala.

The rainy weather prevented our cricketers from enjoying a full season and a lack of match practice influenced our results.

Our 1st tennis team came 4th at the Kearsney tournament and will take on the country's top schools in Stellenbosch this weekend., while our water polo teams travel to Johannesburg.

Proewe vir die wintersporte het reeds begin en ons sien uit na die eerste interskole wedstryde in Upington wat oor 2 weke plaasvind. Baie van ons rugby- en hokkiespanne sal grdurende die vakansie toere onderneem. The 1st soccer team will tour to France and Holland and we wish them well! Mr Johan Grobbelaar was instrumental in arranging an entertaining evening to raise funds for the tour. Gary Bailey, legendary goalkeeper, was the guest speaker and Nico Nel entertained the guests with his humour.

The National Reunie Committee arranged a meeting of all branch chairmen and very positive discussions took place. Mr Roberson and his committee are to be commended for their initiatives in the interest of our alma mater.

Die 2de toetsreeks van die kwartaal begin volgende week en ons bedank by voorbaat ons onderwysers vir hul getroue werk, ons seuns vir hul lojaliteit en ons ouers vir hul betrokkenheid.
