Na afloop van die 1ste kwartaal het n  groot aantal rugby- en hokkiespanne op toere na verskillende dele van die land vertrek.

Die o15- en 016-rugbyspanne het na die Paarl getoer en die 2de en 3de spanne na Stellenbosch, terwyl die 014-span in Pietermaritzburg gespeel het. Hulle het goed gevaar en gewys dat n opwindende seisoen op ons wag. Die 1ste span het hul 3 wedstryde tydens die Kearsney Toernooi in natal gewen teen Kearsney College, EG Jansen en Monument en het skitterrugby gespeel.

The 1st hockey team  won all their matches during the Nomads tournament hosted by Grey, while the u16 team played in Pretoria and the u14's in Pietermaritzburg. The golf team played in a tournament in Pretoria..

With the World Cup Soccer upon us, the academic programme is extremely tough and much has to be done in limited time. Each educator displays teh work to be complered weekly in the classroom so that boys know exactly what is required.

Die 1ste rugbyspan klop Paarl Gimnasium 23-12 en Outeniqua van George 47-6 in n modderbad tydens die Wildeklawwer toernooi in Pretoria. In n skitterwedstryd klop hulle Paarl Boys High 34-12, maar die slae wat ons o14A, o15A, 016A, 3de 3n 2de spanne op die lyf loop, is n tydige waarskuwing van die harde werk wat met sukses gepaard gaan... Die 1ste span het ook vir Selborne geklop terwyl die 1ste hokkiespan goeie oorwinnings oor Selborne en Paarl Boys High behaal het.

Our choir, Indomitus, Marimbas, Band and Ensemble took part in Music in the Mountains in the Drakensberg and received high praise. They also obtained A, A+ and A++ symbols at the recent eisteddfod.

The parents of one of our educators, Naresh Mahabeer, lost their lives in a car accident in Natal. They were true Grey supporters and we mourn their passing...

During the weekend of 14-15 May about 800 boys will travel to Affies in Pretoria for the annual inter schools derby and the inter-cultural evening. The exams will commence on 18 May for gr11 and 12 while gr8,9 and 10 will start on 21 May. The gr 11 boys will go on the annual Shadow Week on 7-9 June.

We live in exciting times and the prospect of the first Soccer World Cup for an African state!
